Takapuna BEACH CUP - PADDLE LIFE EP 1.Takapuna Beach Cup 2026 — Paddle Life TV Episode 1 for the 2026 season. Three epic days of waka ama racing at Takapuna Beach, Auckland. Featuring the iconic 42km change race, 21km divisions, juniors, singles, and relays — all set beneath Rangitoto. Aotearoa showing up in full force with paddlers from across the motu and around the world.

The Takapuna Beach Cup is a three-day Aotearoa Waka Ama event that attracts paddlers from across the nation as well as around the world. The event is hosted in Auckland at Takapuna Beach and racing takes places on the Hauraki Gulf which offers stunning views, including one of NZ's iconic extinct volcanoes, Rangitoto.
The event is inclusive of rangatahi (youth) and pakeke (adults) with a wide range of different ethnicities and cultures coming together to participate in the biggest change race in Aotearoa.

- OC1 / V1 24km Relay (2 paddlers/1 canoe)
- OC2 24km Relay (4 paddlers/1 canoe)
