Payment of Entry Fees

Entries for the Takapuna Beach Cup will be processed by EnterNOW. You can make your payment in two ways 
1. Online via Credit Card - please note you will be charged a convenience fee for any credit card transactions
2. Bank Transfer - if you choose to pay via bank transfer, you will be emailed an invoice. This invoice needs to be paid within 7 days, if you are doing a late entry, the invoice needs to be paid before the TBC


Crew Names
When you do your entry online, you will be required to put in the names of your crew members, including their date of birth and for all New Zealand Paddlers, you will be required to supply each crew members Waka Ama Paddler ID number. Please ensure you have all this information at hand before you start your entry.
If you are unsure of some of your crew members at time of entry , please put in TBC in the name feilds. You will be required to have these names on your entry before the TBC You can email the names to takapunabeachcup@wakaama.co.nz

Please ensure your entries are in before the cut off dates to avoid a late entry fee of $15 per paddler.

OC6 Canoe & Support Boat Hire
  • OC6 Canoe - NZ$300 
  • Support Boat - NZ$500

Please note the cut off date for all OC6 & Support Boat hire requests, is the TBC.
OC1 and OC2 are not arranged through Takapuna Beach Cup, we will assist with contacts where possible.  There are mainly V1 available in NZ.


Refund Policy
  • Entry withdrawals received before 9 February 2023  will receive a full refund 
  • Entry withdrawals received before 16 February 2023 will receive a 50% refund
  • No refunds will be given for any withdrawals after 16 February 2023
  • No refund will be given if the Event is cancelled due to a natural disaster or extreme weather
  • Should the event be cancelled before 16 February 2023 due to Covid-19, a full refund will be given

Flip Drill
  • Upon entry, teams acknowledge that they have completed a flip drill prior to the race. 
  • Please note you will be asked to sign and confirm this at the event on your team waiver also.

Terms & Conditions
  • The race is subject to postponement or cancellation by the Takapuna Beach Cup Race Committee if weather conditions, in their opinion, render running of the race to be unsafe. Entry fees in such cases are non-refundable.
  • The Takapuna Beach Cup Race Committee reserves the right to remove any signage which is not in good taste or which sabotages the promotional rights of the event sponsors.
  • Canoes must display event sponsors promotional requirements in the required position.
  • In the event that a team or its associated support group fails to meet any of the conditions of entry listed, the Takapuna Beach Cup Race Committee reserves the right to have the Race Director disqualify them immediately. 
  • If a team is disqualified they are no longer permitted to take any part in the event, entry fees in such cases are non-refundable.
  • All Crews must be deemed capable of completing the course and sanctioned by their club coaches and or president as such for insurance and liability reasons.
  • Should any circumstances arise not covered in these racing Conditions, the Takapuna Beach Cup Race Committee reserves the right to have the Race Director make a ruling on any such circumstance, and any such decision is to be final and binding.
